The Enchantment of the Ritz Bar

Inspired by the legendary soirées hosted by César Ritz, the Ritz Bar brings the spirit of the Belle Époque into the present day—through a captivating blend of innovation, fantasy, and the mystical arts.

Tucked inside the storied walls of the Ritz Paris, this intimate, dreamlike space invites guests on a sensory journeywhere mixology becomes an ethereal experience. At the heart of the bar, a circular counter crowned with a monumental brass lantern serves as the space’s glowing centerpiece.

Reminiscent of a fantastical machine from the world of Jules Verne, the lantern comes to life each evening at 5:30 PM. As it slowly rises, it projects celestial images of zodiac signs and constellations across the ceiling—accompanied by an immersive soundscape created by a celebrated French duo. The result is pure enchantment: a seamless fusion of cosmic wonder and contemporary elegance.

The menu also echoes the constellations: each star sign has its own cocktail crafted by the world’s most famous bartender, Colin Peter Field.
