A new identity for a legendary table

At the Ritz Paris, L’Espadon enters a new chapter with a brand identity rooted in the meeting of two culinary legacies: Auguste Escoffier, the founding figure of modern French gastronomy, and Chef Eugénie Béziat, whose cuisine brings a contemporary, instinctive perspective to the table. Saguez & Dash translated this dialogue between generations into a distinctive visual language.

At the heart of the identity is a new emblem: an aromatic wreath surrounding the monumental “E.” Evoking an imperial crest, the symbol brings together Espadon, Escoffier and Eugénie, while its composition of herbs and flowers reflects the botanical vocabulary of the chef’s cuisine. Cress, jasmine, tarragon, hyssop, yarrow, geranium, verbena and horseradish come together in an unexpected, delicate composition.

The identity extends beyond the logo to create a complete brand world— one where the theatrical spirit of the Ritz meets the freshness and naturalism of Eugénie Béziat’s cuisine. Copper and terracotta tones, botanical references and refined graphic details create a visual signature that feels both deeply rooted in the history of the Ritz and unmistakably contemporary. A conversation between chefs, across generations.

A new signature for L’Espadon.
