Role
We are seeking a Junior Interior Designer with a passion for hospitality and a strong foundation in design thinking and production. You will work closely with Senior Designers and Design Directors in all project phases—from concept development to FF&E sourcing to final documentation. You'll help translate conceptual ideas into powerful presentations, support production tasks, and assist in maintaining project standards throughout all design phases.
This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to grow in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field
• 1–2 years of experience in hospitality, restaurant, or retail interior design is a plus.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), AutoCAD, G Suite, and Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of SketchUp; experience with 3D rendering is a plus
• Knowledge of FF&E and interior finishes, including sourcing and specification writing
• Familiarity with design phases and documentation standards
• Strong visual communication and presentation design skills
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Duties & Responsibilities
Design Support
• Assist with concept development and digital presentations
• Source and coordinate FF&E and interior finishes with vendors
• Maintain project material boxes and design libraries
• Develop floor plans, elevations, and layout studies
• Collaborate closely with Senior Designers and external consultants
• Participate in reviews of purchase orders, finish samples, and shop drawings
Design Lead (Under Supervision)
• Contribute to concept creation and ensure design intent is consistent through the project
• Support internal presentations and client-facing deliverables
• Maintain organized and up-to-date specifications during design and construction phases
• Conduct initial material and sample reviews
Production
• Prepare FFE specifications and documentation
• Support in developing material boards and guideline drawings
• Assist with 2D renderings in Photoshop and 3D models in SketchUp
• Build and maintain FF&E schedules and plans
Mentorship & Office Support
• Collaborate with interns to support daily project goals and growth
• Assist in the development of office standards and templates
• Support graphic design or internal creative needs when applicable
